These are the simple terms that apply when you order a story from The Happy Dreamer Company. We've written them in plain language because that's how we'd want to read them, too.
What you're ordering
When you place an order, you're purchasing a custom digital audio product — a personalized bedtime story narrated specifically for your child, based on the details you provide. If your package includes an illustrated PDF, that's included as a digital file as well.
Each story is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no automatic renewal.
Delivery
We deliver finished stories to your email within 24–48 hours of receiving your completed details form. In rare cases (holidays, high volume), it may take slightly longer — if so, we'll let you know.
Refunds
Because every story is created specifically for your child, we're unable to offer refunds once story production has begun. If we haven't started yet, we're happy to cancel and refund your order in full.
If something about your story isn't right — a name is misspelled, a detail is off — please let us know and we'll make it right. We care about getting this part of your child's night exactly how it should be.
How you may use your story
The story we create is yours to keep and enjoy as a family. You're welcome to play it at bedtime, share it with grandparents, or save it for years to come. We ask that you not redistribute, resell, or use the story for commercial purposes.
Our creative process
Stories are shaped by a person with the help of AI-assisted writing and narration tools. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your child's details will be used in this creative process. We handle all information with care and use it only to create the story you've ordered.
Accuracy
We do our best to get every detail right, but we're a small creative team, not a legal entity making guarantees. If you notice an error, we'll fix it. Stories are delivered as-is with good intentions and careful attention.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of our service after changes means you're comfortable with the updated terms. We won't make changes that feel surprising.
